Black Box Tuition was created 2024 with the aim of building young people’s confidence through affordable & accessible performance education in Worcestershire, Warwickshire, Gloucestershire and The Cotswolds. Our mission is simple; Give as many children as possible access to inclusive, child-centred performing arts education.

During our research process, it became apparent that there was minimal facilitation of performing arts in primary schools. Considering the positive impact that the arts have on a child’s mental health, we found that children who attended our classes not only found their voice through singing, but they built in confidence, expanded their public speaking ability, honed their social skills, and responded positively to constructive feedback. Our classes continue to help develop life skills that will not only assist children in the short term, but give them fundamental skills as they grow into young adults.

Over the past three years we've grown into a trusted provider — collaborating with 40+ schools, running major holiday theatre programmes at local theatres, educating over 400 pupils on a weekly basis and launching dedicated performance and vocal studios in Evesham. As our company expands, so does our team, increasing our capacity to reach more children and support teachers with high-quality lessons. We’re committed to sustainable growth that keeps pupils at the heart of everything we do, giving them a safe space to be totally themselves.
