FOUNDER & DIRECTOR

Rose graduated with a diploma from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance in 2017, channelling her creativity into multi-generational, performing arts and fitness education. She loved her role as the Musical Theatre Teacher at local performing arts school, PQA Evesham, where she soon went on to become Academy Principal in 2022.

Rose realised how much of a difference performing arts classes were having on the students coming to her academy. Seeing shy children, come out of their shell and unlikely friendships being formed, this was definitely something she wanted more children to experience.

Black Box Tuition was born on the basis that no matter your background, abilities, or passions, performing arts is an integral part of growing up.

Laura’s passion for theatre began as a child, when she started performing arts classes as a way to boost her confidence. Since then, her love for all things performance has continued to flourish. She achieved her BA Hons in Musical Theatre, where she took part in several professional productions including the world premiere of the new musical ‘The Girl in the Hat’.

Since graduating, Laura has dedicated her time to educating the next generation of performers. She has been working closely with multiple youth theatre companies, including PQA Evesham, where she has guided the students through performances on the Westend & locally produced stage shows.

She can’t wait to meet more budding performers and help others find that confidence she was once looking for as a child!

Grace first attended Stratford Upon Avon College, where she earned a Level 3 Diploma in Musical Theatre. She then moved onto earn a BA hons degree in Musical Theatre and Acting for Film from

the University of Chichester Conservatoire.

While training, she has had the privilege of performing in a vast array of shows, such as, Musicals Rock: Relentless (Stratford Upon Avon Play House) Sweeney Todd, Oklahoma (The Palace Theatre, Redditch) Sister Act: The Musical (The Show Room, Chichester).

She is excited to share her knowledge with students who are eager to develop their performance skills!

Georgia has always had a passion for the performing arts. She attended Birmingham Ormiston Academy, where she achieved an A*A*A* in her Level 3 Extended Diploma. This lead her to move to Cornwall as a holiday park entertainer, where she performed in many shows, themed weekends, pantomimes and performances. She then went on to achieve her Degree in Drama, Applied Theatre and Performance.

Georgia has previously taught at PQA Warwick, Banbury and Stratford Upon Avon; Zoogie Boogie, local secondary schools and is currently the singing teacher at Stagecoach Performing Arts School. She loves to give students the tools to create and have ownership of their work. She knows the power of the performing arts, and how important it is for everyday life skills. She aspires to motivate, create and have fun! She is very excited to meet and work with the Black Box students!

MUSICAL THEATRE, VOCAL & DRAMA ASSISTANT

Lilybelle’s love for theatre stems right back to when she was in primary school. Years later, she graduated from London South Bank University with an Upper Second Class Honours in Acting and Performance. During her time at university she performed in a variety of shows as well as working on short films, solo performances even dipping her toes into Shakespearean and contemporary plays. Her most recent performance was a Russian play called ‘The Mother, Truth and Blood’ where she was casted as the ‘Mother’.

Along side her degree she also achieved her Estill Figure Proficiency which has initiated her passion to provide vocal training to young children. Her main focus is to build confidence through theatre education, which aligns with Black Box Tuition’s ethos.

DRAMA COVER TEACHER

Training: BA (Hons) Drama Graduate from Sheffield Hallam University.

Theatre Highlights include: Dewey Finn in Andrew Lloyd Webber's School of Rock (The Greig Hall, Alcester); Seymour in Little Shop of Horrors (Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Scotland & The Norbury Theatre, Droitwich); Fagin in Lionel Bart’s Oliver! (Palace Theatre, Redditch) and Patsy in Monty Python’s Spamalot (Palace Theatre, Redditch).

Craig also works as a Drama Teacher for both The Palace Youth Theatre, Redditch and Stagecoach Redditch & Alcester. He is also an award-winning Graphic Designer and his work has been featured on BroadwayWorld.com; BBC News (Television); TheStage.co.uk; WhatsOnStage.com and Stagechat.co.uk.

He is extremely excited to be joining the teaching team at Black Box Tuition, where he hopes to continue his journey in helping young gifted performers develop their skills within the world of the arts.

DRAMA & THEATRE TEACHER

Georgie is an actor, theatre maker, educator and access co-ordinator. She trained at the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts and has toured in the UK and Europe and as part of Fringe festivals. Georgie has founded and made her own work with various theatre companies, and is currently performing in several rural touring productions, including her solo children's show. Accessibility is an important part of her work, and she has spent the last seven years developing methods to make theatre more accessible, which she implements in her own work and alongside other companies as an access co-ordinator.

As an educator, Georgie has led workshops and classes for adults and children in various settings including in mainstream schools, theatre groups, SEN settings and Pupil Referral Units. She loves delivering fun, playful, creative and rewarding lessons for learners of all levels and abilities. She also offers one to one LAMDA Acting lessons.
